We all want the same thing, an efficient, transparent and equitable outcome for all parties. The mediation process is designed to find this happy place as quickly as possible. The steps are:
Claim: Bondable will pay the landlord or their representative's claim, up to one month's rent, once it is approved. Claims must be lodged with supporting evidence.
The tenant can choose to pay the claim amount immediately or proceed with our online mediation process. This is a flow that enables the information to be shared and for the parties to agree to a settlement amount.
If the parties agree to a settlement the claim is paid to Bondable.
If an agreement can't be reached, one of our trained mediatiors will work with both parties to see if a resolution can be found.
If the parties can't agree to a settlement then the matter proceeds to tribunal.
