Testing platform connections

Once you’ve connected a platform to Hutly, you can quickly test that it’s working by sending a simple prompt in Chat.

Step 1: Open Chat

1. Go to the Chat section in Hutly.
2. Start a new conversation.

Step 2: Send a Test Prompt

Type a straightforward instruction that asks Hutly to interact with the connected platform. For example:

• Please log in to Outlook (https://login.microsoftonline.com) using saved credentials.

Step 3: Watch the Response

Hutly will attempt the login using the saved credentials.

• If the connection is working, you’ll see confirmation in the Chat response.
• If there’s an issue, Hutly will let you know and may ask for updated credentials.

Step 4: Confirm the Result

If the login completes without error, your Outlook connection is working correctly. You’re ready to build workflows or run more complex tasks.
