How to Edit Special Conditions

Overview

ADL Online allows users to create their own bespoke Special Conditions to include in forms. These can be tailored to suit agency requirements, unique property situations, or specific client instructions.

At present, Special Conditions cannot be edited once they have been created. This article outlines how to update a Special Condition using the current workaround.

Updating a Special Condition

If you need to make any changes to an existing Special Condition—for example, correcting wording, updating clauses, or adding new details—you will need to follow the steps below.

Current Workaround

  1. Delete the existing Special Condition
To remove the version you no longer need, start by clicking on the Select Special Conditions box in the right-hand panel of the screen.

  2. The below screen will then appear. Click on the rubbish bin located to the right of the special condition you need to update, to delete it.

  3. Create a new Special Condition
Click on the + symbol to the right of Special Condition in the right-hand panel of the screen. This will allow you to re-enter the condition with the required updates and save it as a new item.

This ensures your forms use the most accurate and up-to-date information.

Why Editing Is Not Currently Available

The ability to directly edit existing Special Conditions is temporarily unavailable due to system limitations. Our technical team is actively working on restoring and improving this functionality.
