In ADL Online, once you’ve completed filling out a form and click Continue, you’ll arrive at the finalisation screen. Here, you’ll see options to download or send your completed form.
⚠️ Once you click “Download”, the form is locked and can no longer be edited.
This is done to ensure document integrity and compliance with legal standards.
🔒 Why are forms locked after downloading?
Locking the form prevents any accidental or unauthorised changes after finalisation. It ensures:

Your form is consistent with what was submitted or sent

Compliance is maintained by preserving the exact wording and structure

A valid audit trail is available, with a fixed final version
📥 What should I do before downloading?
Before clicking Download, be sure to:

Double-check all form entries

Make any required edits or corrections

Confirm the form is 100% ready for use or distribution
Once downloaded, editing will no longer be possible.
✅ What does the download screen look like?
You’ll see this screen in the top right corner once you have completed your form and pressed continue. Your form is now ready to be finalised:

The Download button will lock the form and generate your file as PDF

The Send using Hutly Sign button allows you to digitally sign and send the document.
You can edit a form once it has been sent for signing, but this will cancel the signing process and notify all recipients. If you edit a form once it has been sent for signing, it will need to be re-sent for signing once editing is complete.

The Close button returns you to the form where you can continue to edit it

If you need to make changes after downloading, you’ll need to:

Start a new version of the form

Re-enter the details as needed
