Managing your templates
If you regularly use the same form—like an Entry Notice for residential leases—templates can save you serious time. Instead of starting from scratch each time, you can pre-fill the common details once and reuse your template whenever you need it.
For example, you might create an Entry Notice template with property and tenant details already filled in. Then, when it's time to send the notice, all you need to do is update the entry date and time. Simple!
✅ Step 1: Open the Templates page
From the left-hand sidebar, click on Templates.
-
Select My Templates to view or manage your existing templates.
-
Click New Template to create a brand new one from scratch.
All your saved templates will appear in a list on this page.
✅ Step 2: Manage your templates
Next to each template, you’ll see a three-dot menu on the right. Click this menu to:
-
Create a new form using the template
-
Edit the template
-
Duplicate and rename it
-
Or delete it if it’s no longer needed
✅ Step 3: Create a new template
Click New Template, then choose the form you'd like to build your template from.
Once selected, the form will open and function just like any other form in ADL Forms Online.
Fill in as many fields as you'd like to be pre-filled next time—just remember to give your template a clear, descriptive name so it's easy to find later.
When you're done, click Save Template in the top-right corner.
🔔 Tip: Templates are perfect for commonly used forms like inspections, lease agreements, or maintenance notices—cutting down on repetition and improving consistency across your team.
