Help! My template has disappeared

If a template you’ve previously created is no longer showing in ADL Online, there are a few common reasons this may happen. Here’s what to check.

🔄 The form has been updated

Templates are created for specific forms. These forms are updated from time to time to stay compliant with legislation.

If a form has undergone a major update, any existing templates linked to it may no longer be visible for compliance reasons. If this is the case, you’ll need to create a new template using the updated version of the form to ensure you are complying with current legislation.

ADL is working on a solution to carry all form updates over to associated templates in the future. For now, new templates will need to be created manually using the updated version of the form.

🔍 Check your filter settings

Your template might still be there—it could just be filtered out.

On the Template Search screen, make sure you've selected the correct:

  • Region

  • Type

  • Contract (form)

Templates will only appear when the filters match how the original template was created

🗑️ It may have been deleted

It’s possible the template was deleted by another account user. If that’s the case, it can’t be recovered.

You’ll need to create a new one if required.
