Important Updates to Your ADL Subscription and Billing
ADL has introduced a new billing system as part of our transition to ADL Forms Online, our cloud-based platform designed to give you faster updates, stronger compliance, and access to modern features like eSigning.
These changes affect how your subscription is billed, what you’ll see on your invoice, and how payments must be made to ensure uninterrupted access.
🌐 ADL Forms Online is Here — and ADL Desktop is Being Phased Out
Earlier this year, we launched ADL Forms Online—our modern, cloud-based platform designed to streamline your form management while keeping your business compliant with current legislation.
❗ Why it matters
Forms in ADL Online are the only versions guaranteed to be compliant.
Due to the age and limitations of the technology that supports ADL Desktop, we can no longer update the forms within it. This means:

Forms in ADL Desktop do not receive legislative updates

Any legal or regulatory changes will only be reflected in ADL Forms Online
⚠️ If you're still using ADL Desktop, you may be working with outdated forms that are no longer compliant.
While ADL Desktop can still be used for forms that haven't yet been moved across, it is being gradually decommissioned, and we strongly recommend making the switch to ADL Forms Online now.
✅ Access during the transition
To continue using ADL Desktop during this transition period, you must maintain an active ADL Online subscription.
💳 Invoices and Payments
Your new invoice reflects our updated billing system, replacing the old ADL Desktop invoice. It now provides access to:

ADL Desktop (until it is decommissioned)

ADL Forms Online and its full suite of features
We’ve also modernised the payment process by removing manual handling. To avoid disruption, all payments must now be made using the secure link provided on your invoice.

Direct Debit (BECS) – if you don’t see this option, please contact us for assistance
❓ I already paid—why am I getting another invoice?
We took great care to migrate previous payments, but some direct credit payments may not have carried over fully.

👥 What is a “Pro Seat” and Why Are There Two?
ADL has introduced a flexible, seat-based pricing model to give you more control over your subscription.

One seat = one user

Two seats are the minimum for all subscriptions. In most cases, this has not increased costs.

Pricing starts at $8.11 per seat/month (incl. GST and fees)

🖥️ I Only Use ADL Desktop—Do I Still Need Online?
Yes. Access to ADL Desktop is now tied to an ADL Online subscription. ADL Desktop will be fully decommissioned at some point in the near future.
Staying subscribed to ADL Online now ensures:

Access to compliant, up-to-date forms via ADL Online

Let us know if your invoice reflects more users than you have. We’ll:

📅 Can I Pay Monthly?
Yes. While your ADL subscription is annual, you can choose to pay:

Annually in advance, or
-
Monthly over the course of the year
🔒 Please note: Under our Terms and Conditions, no refunds are available if you cancel partway through your subscription period.
